  • The manufacturing process for wooden doors generally includes the following steps:

    1. Material Selection: Choose suitable wood species such as pine, fir, oak, or walnut, determining the type and quality of wood based on the door's grade and intended use.

    2. Cutting: Cut the wood to the required length and width according to the design dimensions. During rough cutting, add 10mm to both the length and width to allow for subsequent processing.

    3. Frame Assembly: Assemble cut timber components into door frame and door panel structures, ensuring square corners with dimensions increased by 10mm in both length and width. For glass doors, determine glass size and positioning. After applying anti-warping treatment to the frame, press it flat using a hydraulic press.

    4. Hot Pressing: After assembling the door frame and door panel, apply medium-density fiberboard (MDF) or similar materials through hot pressing to form an integrated structure. Prior to hot pressing, thoroughly clean both the hot press plates and workpieces. Set the hot press temperature and pressure precisely. Arrange the workpieces in an orderly manner to ensure uniform force distribution across all areas.

    5. Precision Edge Trimming: Using edge trimming machines and similar equipment, trim excess material from the edges of thermally bonded door frames and door panels to achieve precise dimensions and smooth edges. Before loading workpieces, ensure both the clamping plates and workpieces are thoroughly cleaned. Workpieces must not be misaligned; they should be perfectly aligned vertically with the core panel and free of slag.

    6. Milling the Door Core Panel: If the door leaf has a core panel, it must undergo milling to create a specific shape and three-dimensional effect. The surface should be smooth and rounded.

    7. Milling Decorative Lines on Doors: According to design specifications, decorative lines are milled onto the surfaces of door frames and door panels to enhance the aesthetic appeal of wooden doors.

    8. Veneering: To create solid wood veneered doors, apply solid wood veneer sheets—such as walnut or cherry wood—to the surfaces of door panels and frames. When using white glue for veneering, ensure the first coat is completely dry before applying the second coat, then iron the surface to smooth it.

    9. Drilling Lock and Hinge Holes: Using specialized drilling equipment, drill corresponding installation holes in the door frame and door panel according to the specifications of the door lock and hinges.

    10. Test Fitting: Assemble the finished door frame and door panel to verify proper dimensions, smooth operation, and uniform gaps between the door panel and frame. The door panel must not wobble or have any gaps.

    11. Painting: Surface painting of wooden doors typically involves multiple steps, including sanding, priming, and topcoating. The primer must be sprayed evenly, with thorough inspection for peeling or bubbling. After drying, sanding is performed before applying the topcoat. This process ensures a smooth, uniformly colored surface with excellent wear resistance and aesthetic appeal.

    12. Quality Inspection: Conduct a comprehensive quality check on wooden doors, including visual inspection, dimensional measurement, and functional testing. Verify that door surfaces are free of defects, dimensions meet specifications, operation is smooth, and locks function properly.

    13.Packaging and Storage: Qualified wooden doors are packaged using materials such as cardboard boxes and plastic film to prevent damage during transportation and storage. After packaging, labels are affixed indicating product model, specifications, quantity, and other relevant information before being stored in the warehouse.
